Terms of Service for Nordlys Beauty Studio

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by Nordlys Beauty Studio ("we", "us", "our") and apply to all customers ("you", "your") who book, purchase, or receive services from Nordlys Beauty Studio at Bogstadveien 27, 0355 Oslo, Norway, or through any communication channel operated by us.

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, visiting our studio, or otherwise using the services of Nordlys Beauty Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

These Terms apply together with any service-specific instructions, aftercare guidance, booking confirmations, policies, and notices communicated by Nordlys Beauty Studio.

2. Scope of services

Nordlys Beauty Studio provides beauty and personal care services, including but not limited to:

• Voksbehandlinger
• Makeup til hverdag og spesielle anledninger

All services are provided based on the information you give us at the time of booking and consultation. We may refuse, modify, or discontinue a service if we reasonably believe it is unsafe, unsuitable, or not appropriate for your condition or circumstances.

Any treatment recommendations are intended for cosmetic and general beauty purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. User obligations and responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when booking or receiving services.
• Inform us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, injuries, infections, medications, pregnancy, or other relevant health concerns.
• Follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by Nordlys Beauty Studio.
• Arrive on time for your appointment and respect the studio environment and staff.
• Refrain from attending appointments if you are ill, contagious, or otherwise unable to safely receive the service.
• Treat our staff and other clients with respect and courtesy.

You are responsible for deciding whether a service is suitable for you. If you fail to disclose relevant information, you accept the risks associated with receiving the service.

4. Payment terms and conditions

Prices for services are communicated through our booking system, price list, or direct communication. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK).

• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We may require prepayment, deposits, or card details to secure certain bookings.
• If a deposit is required, it may be applied toward the final price or retained according to the cancellation policy below.
• We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price applicable is the one in effect at the time of booking or purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
• Any additional services, upgrades, or changes requested during the appointment may result in additional charges.

If payment is declined, reversed, or otherwise not completed, we may suspend future bookings until the outstanding amount is paid in full.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

We value your time and ours. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify Nordlys Beauty Studio as early as possible.

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within the notice period stated in your booking confirmation may be accepted without charge.
• Late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of any deposit paid.
• If you arrive late, we may shorten the service to avoid affecting other appointments, while the full or partial fee may still apply.
• Refunds are generally not provided for services already performed, except where required by law or where we determine, in our discretion, that a refund is appropriate.
• Product purchases, if any, may be subject to separate return conditions communicated at the time of sale.

If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us promptly so we can assess the matter and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as correction, re-service, or another reasonable solution.

6. Liability limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nordlys Beauty Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or reputational harm.

We are not responsible for adverse reactions, complications, or outcomes resulting from:

• Failure to disclose relevant medical or personal information;
• Failure to follow aftercare instructions;
• Use of products or treatments not recommended by us;
• Pre-existing conditions, sensitivities, or allergies;
• Actions taken by third parties after the service has been completed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with a service shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service, except where a different limitation is required by law.

7. Intellectual property rights

All content created, owned, or used by Nordlys Beauty Studio, including text, images, logos, branding, service descriptions, training materials, and website content, is protected by intellectual property rights and remains our property or the property of our licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Any photographs or videos taken by us during or after a service may be used for marketing or portfolio purposes only where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

8. Data protection and privacy

Nordlys Beauty Studio processes personal data in connection with bookings, service delivery, customer communication, payments, and studio operations. We handle personal data with appropriate care and in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable data protection requirements.
